Another way to label the switches:
Including a touch sensor to the metal lever of the toggle switches would make it possible to do an aural announcement BEFORE you actuate the switch.
You touch the switch, you get the voice message "Gear" or "Flight Phases" or "Dual Rate Aileron" first - and then you actuate it, if it is the right switch.

To be honest ... I haven't seen toggle switches with touch sensors included yet ...

I was just about to ask you, if you have had a Spektrum ix20 in your hand recently? ;)

Brilliant thing such a sensor switch!...everytime when you are about to flip a Switch you have public radio anouncments and if you flip it... twice. And if your not sure about the switch even more times... Your colleges at the Airfield will love this :)

Just my 2 Cents...
Maybe someone who likes the sleek look and feel of the Jeti-TXes will switch to a compatitor if confronted with 24 Displays that needs to be set up. Okay you can leave it unlabeled but, better it takes the text from the Function and displays it like a ticker...c'mon would you really want something like that? Rather not, at least for myself.

About the "switch Problem"...
There are some good Solutions out there..:

- Notepad App
- Switches App
- Why not flipping the switches before you switch on the model, if you have announcements set...
- fly more often with this specific model...
- label the switch

If you have to think about basic functions and "which switch does what" while flying, it could end in something like... Houston we have/had a problem....

IMHO Best practice still is, using the same switches for the same functions on every model if possible.

Same functions on sailplanes used as well for acro, drones and helicopters?
You mean like smoker on at the drone? Autorotation at the sailplane? Gear down at the Heli? Acro figure announcment at the drone? Vario volume adjustment at the acro plane? Motor cut off at the sailplane? Landing timer start at the drone? Thermal flap adjustment at the heli? Return home at the acro plane? FPV OSD settings at the sailplane? .............. And I'm not into jets until now. :P

Nitrohelicopters have smoke system built-in ;)

That's why I wrote "if possible"!

I thought of Dualrate, Expo, engine/motor Cut off (on copters and planes), lights, flight modes... things like that.

...doesn't Spektrum have got such a feature?

Yes, e.g. the Spectrum iX20 has exactly this, it is called "capacitive touch". This would be much more realistic to implement and way better and useful than little displays (?)! Might just be some patent(s) on it I think....
