instead of the LUA app "Notizbuch", the LUA app " Switch56" also from Thorn can be used. This one also looks chick.:cheer:
maybe it could help you also.

Displays for every switch? Seriously, I do not look at the switches while flying, I have to know that by heart to fly a model safely?
What I do:
1. I have put on rubber caps to the essential switches only, so I have a haptic feedback e.g. for the switch I use for flight phases with Gliders and Helicopters, and I have a rubber cap on the switch for autorotation for Helicopters.
2. I assign a sound file telling me what function I activated or deactivated, so I have an acoustic control, much better than displays in my opinion
Frankly, I think adding little displays for every switch is unrealistic and I doubt about cost/benefit ratio at least for my practice.

Best regards
Peter

Micro-displays at each switch/knob would be a great asset! Go for that!

Then we agree to disagree :)

My wishes as expressed earlier in this thread, much more important than little displays for each function to me:
- Much larger Screen with better resolution and legibility in sunlight, touchscreen and toggle wheel (like in my BMW)
- WLAN integrated (like Powerbox Core) so transmitter can be upgraded in my network directly, and e.g. I also can auto synchronize log files, updated model files or backups to my NAS directly
- Update of receivers via 2.4GHz (like Powerbox Core)
- Finally, an integrated bluetooth option to connect a wireless headset right from the shelf

Best regards
Peter

It doesn't mean you have to look at the displays each time you fly, and of course you have to actuate the important switches by heart.
I use the same switch for the flight phases in each type of model, this is not the problem, of course I remember this one.
The displays are helpful for the functions you don't use so often. Have a look at the display just before the flight and you remember.

The problem with the aural announcement, telling the function: You become aware of it AFTER you activate it. This might be too late ... :P

I agree with you when it comes to the WLAN function connecting to your home network.

I think you misunderstod my comment. I agree on all your sugestions but i especially like the one on micro-dispalys.
