Bitte ändert euer Passwort!

Im März 2026 wurde das Forum gehackt. Dabei hatten die Angreifer Zugriff auf die Datenbank und somit Zugriff auf eure Passwörter. Auch wenn das Forum kein Passwort im Klartext speichert, können die Angreifer eure Passwörter knacken. Bitte ändert daher dringend euer Passwort für das Forum. Solltet ihr das gleiche Passwort auch an anderer Stelle verwenden, ändert es bitte unbedingt an allen Stellen!

Problem with the function "messageBox" in LUA

In a LUA program I use the function "messageBox". Now I notice that the text in box is also included in the log file as an alarm.

For instance:
000138042; 0000000000; 15; 16; 0; GPS Not Locked; 0; 0
or
000334699; 0000000000; 15; 16; 0; LiPo Voltage Low; 0; 0

In the LUA programming API nothing can be found here. In itself it is not a big problem. In the Jeti Studio, displaying alarms can be disabled. But it is better not to write the text from the message box as an alarm to the log file.

Does anyone have an idea how to disable this?

Hello Nico,
I think "System.messageBox(..)" is mainly used for error or alert messages.
Therefore it make sense to add the massage in the log too.
I also did not find a way to prevent this.
