Receiver Output REX Assist in conjunction with a CB-Box

In the Manual of the Assist-Receivers under 7.1 it is decribed how to redirect the Transmitter-Channels to any receiver output.

This would be a fine issue in conjunction with a CB-box if You need more than the at the box available ports. 

To my experience this does not work! If I change the channel-output at the REX-assist it also changes the respective value in the EX-bus signal. E.g. if I create a channel for may be lights and assign it to channel 16 in the transmitter, then I change for instance the output-pin 3 in the Assist to channel 16 („Lights“), this also changes the channel-output in the CB-box at pin 3 to the signal of the „Lights“!?

This behaviour should either be stated in the usermanual or the firmware of the box/assist be corrected.

Dear Mr. Stadler,
This channel change is completely logical. EX-Bus serial communication is generated directly by the receiver, not by transmitter. If you change the output pin in the receiver, it's also changed in the serial communication that the receiver generates.
It would be completely illogical if the output pins in the receiver were changed and the generation of EX-BUS serial communication in the receiver was based on the transmitter, that would be huge confusion and an illogical function. 
PS: If you are using an ASSIST receiver and Central Box, I am attaching the recommended connection and basic settings. This diagram is valid for all types of ASSIST receivers and Central Boxes. Have a nice day.

des einen Logik ist des anderen eben nicht logisch.

Ich persönlich würde es logischer finden im Sender die Kanäle zu bestimmen und auf den einzelnen Ausgabedevices eben die PINs zu bestimmen.

Mir kommt mit dem Anschlussschema eben eine Frage auf: Was passiert wenn ich auf dem Rex6 auf Pin1 Kanal 8 ausgeben möchte (natürlich kein Servo) und dann am Assist Rex10A auf Pin3 nochmal Kanal 8?
Würde dann der Rex6 die "Kanal" Belegung nach seinem Gusto im Störungsfall an den Assist und an die Central Box weiter geben.
Oder verändert nur der Assist die "Kanal" Belegung?
Was kommt denn dann an der Centralbox an und vor allem was kommt da an wenn der Assist keinen Empfang mehr hat?

Oder anders, welcher Empfänger ist den nun "Master" im verändern des ExBus?
Und darum wäre es für mich logischer Sender gibt Kanäle aus und auf den ausgebenden Geräten bestimme ich welcher Kanal auf welchem Pin ausgegeben wird.

Na, ja ...
ich denke wohl mal wieder anders als andere ...

ich würde sagen, dass du an dem REX6 (zweiter Empfänger) ohne Probleme den Steckplatz 1 mit Kanal 8 belegen kannst. So habe ich es zumindest in einem Modell machen können. Den gleichen Kanal auch an einem anderen Steckplatz am ersten Empfänger steuern zu wollen, habe ich nicht probiert - mir fällt auch momentan kein Fall ein, warum ich das wollen sollte. Genauso könnte ich mich fragen, ob der Sender noch funktioniert, wenn ich 2 Meter unter Wasser stehe  Verzeih mir die Ironie, aber man kann immer eine Konstellation anführen, die vielleicht nicht geht - aber auch nicht gehen muss. ...und wenn es deinen Bedarf wirklich gäbe, dann würde ich die Anschlüsse nicht auf Central Box und Satelliten-Empfänger verteilen, sondern eine andere Anordnung finden, für die es dann sicherlich einen Workaround gäbe.

Zurück zu deiner Frage: Nach meinen Erfahrungen ist der erste Empfänger der führende Empfänger, der die Reihenfolge an der Central Box verändern könnte.

Praktisch habe ich die Einstellungen im Menü der Central Box vorgenommen und für zusätzliche Steckplätze den zweiten Empfänger konfiguriert. Wenn man das weiß, sehe ich hier keine Probleme mehr.

The information you got from Jeti was in error.  Jeti confirms that changing the output pin on the receiver does not change the Exbus order.  The Exbus order of channels is set purely by the servo assignment in the transmitter.  Changing the output pin channel in the receiver only changes the servo sockets on the receiver itself.
