More logical switches please

They get used up rather quickly when you start combining them for various functions.

you have

- 16 logical switches

- 20 flight modes

- and each FM you have 20 free mixtures


This should be more than enought - my subjective meeming.

Where do you need 16 logical switches ?


Perhaps all the actual user wishes are comming with the DC/DS-32 ????

Just a short note ... are you aware, that you can actually assign a previously programmed logical switch as an input for another logical switch ? By cascading logical switches you can actually make one single logical switch with quite a lot of switch conditions ...

I reckon cascading 16 switches really should give you enough switching power and available switch conditions !

But if you need more than 16 logical switches, I do indeed support your request !

I would also like to request more logical switches (hopefully 32) on the following grounds:

1) I used all 16 in one model and want more.
2) While the architecture is elegant, it can be more restrictive than, say, a 12Z's architecture. Virtually everything I want to switch logically has between 3 and 4 inputs. Thus, it takes 2-3 cascaded logical switches per action. That only lets me do about 5 actions combined including Sounds on Event, Flight Modes, stick switched flap retraction or snap modes, etc...
3) In contrast, Futaba 12Z offers 4 inputs for each switch, and they are pretty much universally available in each dual rate and flight mode. While more awkward to program than the Jeti, it does offer more total logical switches.
4) I cannot assign a sound on event to a flight mode... I have to assign it to the switches used to trigger the flight mode. Some flight modes are triggered simply because a higher priority flight mode is switched off... elegant. However, I still have to use up 3-4 logic switch inputs to logical switches to assign a Sound on Event that corresponds to the desired flight mode that was activated much more elegantly.

My thoughts... please double the available logical switches.

Who are you? Work for Jeti?

I don't want a 32 channel radio. I want to be able to use all the 20 FMs, voice features, and telemetry features of the 16 channel radio I already have. If you would like I can send you a truth table that demonstrates its not possible with 16 logical switches.

It takes 13 logical switches just to use your 20 FMs, but since a FM isn't an input into a sound, I have to use still more logical switches to get a sound associated with each FM. 21 more to be exact. Like I said, I'll send you a truth table in excel for you to tweak so you can prove me wrong.
