I would like to see some FPF support, First Person View, from the Jeti system. Sometimes when you fly with goggles and a camera on board the aeroplane you use a device called head tracker. The head tracker is a device that you mount on your goggles or on your hat and it contains gyros. By mean of the student/teacher function the head tracker controls three servos who in turn steers the camera gimbal on the drone or on the aeroplane. This could probably be done already by using the R3 receiver in TX mode and a gyro assembly from another brand. But…
If Jeti could supply a software for the Assist line of receivers that turns those into transmitters in the same way as for the R3 receiver they could maybe be used as a complete Jeti head tracker unit?
In the long run I would like to see a Jeti head tracker unit that is connects to the Jeti TX by means of a cable instead of one of the TX paths. That is because I use Double Path mode in some of my models and then I can’t use the student/teacher function at the same time. The head tracker unit on top of my hat also needs to be powered so I can’t escape some sort of cable anyway so it could just as well take its power from the Jeti Tx.
By incorporating FPV functions into the Jeti system it would probably be possible to create more functions further on.
