Yes indeed, the current is very high, but as you can see on the scope pictures it is only very short. This is due to the high startup currents of the servo motor. Also during my test the motor will run into the opposite direction which causes those high peaks.

Of course, the high-amps are only for milliseconds - but the time is not relevant for the voltage drop at the connectors.
To measure the real bec output - without the loss at the connectors - a measurement directly at the bec-cables would be more accurate.
I guess the connectors can cause an additional drop of round about 0,2V in this case wich is about 10% of the total drop.

I agree, but in practice the BEC is conneced with the Vstabi via the 2 servoconnectors, there's no other way possible on the Vstabi unit. We should ask Mikado for another (external), dedicated connector ...

Hi,
I use Master mezon 130 with BEC (but in airplane, Sebart MythoS 125E, F3A plane) and I use the BEC and a Scorpion Backup Guard.
Has worked fine so far.
The BEC do not need to work hard in my plane, according to Jeti Box after flights only max 1 amp has been recorded for BEC, for servos and reciver during about 7 min flight time. I have set the BEC to 6 volt. Scorpion Backup Guard (500 mAh, 2 cell lipo) kicks in if voltage drop below 5 volt on BEC for whatever reason so radio will continue to work (hopefully) if BEC should fail. I have about 50 flights now with this setup.
Backup Guard has it's limitations: 5 volt (one way) output and max 10 amp peak.
38 gram. Red LED flash when the LiPo battery in the Backup Guard is lower then 30% capacity left.
In flight my Mezon 130 ESC get max 45 deg Celsius (summer day at 25 deg Celsius or so outside temp). I get max 78 amp with my motor (Hacker A60-7XS) on 8 cell LiPo (TopFuel 40C 5000 mAh) at full throttle (with Falcon 19x12 V2 electric carbon prop).
Maybe some of this info above can be of help to airplane users, helicopter usage seems to be more demanding on ESC from what I read above in previous posts.

Hallo,
we are flying Mezon 95 Opto in our two F3A 2x2 pattern airplanes MythoS with Hacker Q80, Falcon 21x13,5 Prop and Hacker 4500 mA 10s battery. At the ground about 74 amps. And we are flying a Mezon 120rpm in a Logo 550sx Heli, BEC is 6 V. All works fine so far.
Regards
