This morning with the car a test drive made over a distance of 14.9 km according to the kilometer counter in the car. A separate logging GPS was included for testing. After the test, he gave a distance of 14.9 km traveled. That is all right.

Now the VarioGPS. After reading the logfile from the transmitter, the Jeti Studio showed the exact route. The speed is also according to the speed driven. But "trip" in not good. Comes to 81.9 km! That is exactly 4.5 times too high.

I use Jeti Studio v1.06 and the varioGPS softwareversion v2.0.1.

What GPS do you have? With which measurement interval? 1-10Hz? Have you set 2D or 3D distance in the VarioGPS?

If you can send me the log file that would be great.

The GPS distance is set to 3D. I do not know the measurement interval. No idea where to set that.

The interval can only be set with the u-center software. standart should be 1Hz.

I will look at the problem in the next few days. Must probably be somewhere a calculation error or a wrong data type ....

I have sent you a Jeti logfle...

Tomorrow I do the test again, but with the VarioGPS in 2D mode.

This morning the Vario GPS set in 2D. Then drove the same route as yesterday. Back home the log file displayed in Jeti Studio. The trip distance appears to be 0 km.

In 2D, the VarioGPS does not record a trip distance.

The VarioGPS reset to 3D and the trip registration works again.
